Abu Dhabi Municipality has completed the installation of 39 new barbecue units in a number of Abu Dhabi Island gardens, as part of a project that began in March and is expected to complete completion of the 39 units at the end of this month.
The municipality warned against barbecuing in unoccupied areas, disposing of hot coal and ash in unallocated areas, or smoking shisha in the gardens, leading to the destruction of agricultural assets and damage to green areas, indicating that fines of these violations amount to 1000 dirhams.
The Municipality has allocated several barbecue gardens including the Heritage Park, the Official Park, the Family Garden, the Lake Park, the Nozha Gardens No. 5/3/2/1 on the Arabian Gulf Road, the Dolphin Park in the Corniche East, where it is allowed to roast through designated areas (stone and cement grills).
In the same context, Abu Dhabi Municipality confirmed to the «vision» the identification of prohibited practices in parks and parks, including the dumping of waste and garbage in places not allocated to them, and the destruction or disassembly or disfigurement of the property of the park or the removal of any plants or rocks.
The municipality banned the sale, display or promotion of products without permission from the municipality, barbecue in places not allocated to him in the gardens, walking on any grass, or performing any sports or recreational activity that impairs the use of gardens.
It is forbidden to smoke shisha in gardens, to take dogs and pets to the gardens, to spit, and to operate high equipment or loud sounds except in designated places or after obtaining the necessary approvals and permits from recreational organizers.
The municipality installed five pilot units in the Dolphin Park earlier this year as part of the project to install 39 new barbecue units, including the installation of 15 units in the Dolphin Park and 24 units in the Corniche Gardens.
