In celebration of the celebration of the Abu Dhabi Gardens, Abu Dhabi Municipality has raised the green flag on the promenade of the Corniche Beach in Abu Dhabi, where the State has issued its decision to renew the green flag of the gardens in 2015, Umm Al-Emarat Park, Khalifa Park and Al Rahba Park, as well as a new concession to the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City by raising the green flag in Corniche Beach Park.
HE Saif Bader Al Qubaisi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Municipality, expressed his pride in the achievements of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi at all levels. The green flag is of great importance in determining the best standards for landscaping and landscaping, and promoting tourism in Abu Dhabi Gardens as a main destination for tourists who wish to visit and spend time in an approved and safe entertainment facility. The patch of green spaces.
As for the measures taken in the nominated gardens, the municipality noted that a team of engineers with expertise in the field of garden assessment and review of the submission documents was formed, in addition to the use of specialists in the external centers, coordination with the centers of the foreign municipalities and informing them of the proposed schedule of visits to the nominated and previous gardens The Municipality organized an induction workshop by the Municipality engineers to provide them with a sample of the submission document. The documents were reviewed within this stage and the notes were prepared for completion by them.
The gardens have been selected after studying the current status of all Abu Dhabi city parks and their conformity with the Green Flag standards which qualify them for international accreditation. A plan has been prepared to meet the rest of the standards for all parks in Abu Dhabi and to develop a management plan for the next three years for each park. And in any year will be implemented, and to take into consideration the gardens that received the award as a benchmark for the rest of the gardens.
The municipality added that the International Committee for the Inspection of the standards of gardens and parks has done all necessary procedures and field reviews on a number of Abu Dhabi Gardens with the aim of renewing the green flag badge for the green flag gardens since 2015 and evaluating the status of Abu Dhabi's Corniche Beach Park.
