A park with large meadow areas and groups of partially old trees
The Rosenau bears her name since 1828. The place was until then known under the name Deutscherrenbleiche. In the Middle Ages, the Knights of the Teutonic Order had created a fish pond with an island on it, the farm building on it, and operated on the pond the third big wash-bleach of Nuremberg (next to the island Schütt and the Neubleiche). The pond itself was called Bleichersweiher.
