A residential and recreational area
A meadow landscape and newly planted with 3000 trees. Two bridges and two underpasses cross the freight line that runs parallel to the banks of the Rhine and thus connect the park with its 1.4 km long promenade. The recreation and recreation areas include sandy beaches on the promenade with wooden plateaus as sunbathing areas and play areas such as skate park and street ball field. Parts of the former industrial plants have remained as wall remains and decorated with graffiti. Directly connected to the site is the foot and cycle path of the crossing of the Rhine Duisburg-Hochfelder railway bridge. The park also has a small restaurant with an outside area.
