A landscape park in the Wuppertal Barmen
The Vorwerk park was established in the early 20th century by Adolf Vorwerk (founder of the company of the same name) as a private park of the nearby Vorwerk villa, Villa Emma, on the edge of the Barmer facilities. The villa and the oldest part of the park, the arcade, was built in 1895.The villa in the Swiss villa style on the Adolf-Vorwerk-Straße 23 was the ancestral family seat and was inhabited until 1959, later was the demolition.
