In the city park there is a toddler playground
The towering dolomite rock and the view from there over Barmen was once considered a sight, the steep slope with the crossing of two footpaths remained undeveloped. Garden architect Arthur Stüting designed it around 1900 to a small park (0.45 ha). The Hohenstein is today protected as a natural monument. Since 2008, visitors to the park have been able to sit back in the sun and enjoy the unobstructed view of the rock and the Wuppertal through a generous cut.
