In the center of the forest area lies the Nützenbergpark. The creation of the park structures was started in 1874 by the Elberfelder Beautification Association. [5] Here, at the highest point of Nützenberg, stands the Weyerbus Tower, built in 1898. Opposite him the park guard house, house Weyerbusch, from the same building time as the tower. Around the Weyerbuschturm there is a playground, where a summer party takes place once a year. In addition to the football field is located north of Nützenbergpark a large gravel sports field, which is known under the name Kaiserhöhe.
Also in the context of the Regional 2006, the park was renewed and expanded with its large playground, so now in addition to a high-wire course, [7] an artificial turf pitch and other climbing equipment are available.
