In the seventies and eighties of the last century, the "Karlsruheer garden of the twentieth century" was created with Gunter-Klutz-Eng. A typical boat, lake, paddle boat, toboggan, observation hill, playgrounds, large playgrounds, meadows and many hiking trails were created.

The Günther-Klotz-Anlage ("Klotze") is a park available to the public in the southwest of Karlsruhe, named after the former mayor of Karlsruhe Gunter Klutz.
