A popular recreational area in the middle of the Ruhrgebiet
Here you can experience the pure nature by making beautiful walks on the kilometer-long paths or exploring the area on the bike path. The path leads along the Emscher but also through the vast forest areas and past the Ewaldsee. The area Emscher break is a total of 750 hectares and is located south of the cities of Herten and Recklinghausen and north of the Emscher.
