A historic green area
In 1846, underground brewery operating rooms were erected north of the park on the Max Planck road by the Kiel Actien brewery and the "Felsenhalle" excursion center was built, which included an octagonal tower, which served as a lifting device for beer kegs and as an observation tower for guests of the restaurant served. Machine building, barrel warehouse, cooperage and five storage cellars were built. In 1872, the cellar vaults were extended. [4] During the Second World War, the aboveground building was partially destroyed.
