  Fun in the water, sport and entertainment

  In the summer in particular, the sprawling complex joins numerous sportsmen and women, as well as sun worshipers. A number of water sports clubs have settled around the E Lake, as the Krefelders like to call it. The lake offers opportunities for rowers, sailors and windsurfers to enjoy their sports. Model boats also have their own section. With the appropriate license, it is also possible to fish in Elfrather See at designated areas along the bank of the regatta course. A disused boat has also been sunk in the lake for divers, representing an underwater attraction in the form of a wreck. The German Life Saving Association (DLRG) and the lifeguard service of the German Red Cross take turns to make sure that the water is safe. Swimming is only allowed in the separate bathing lake.
