A simple network of trails leads around the pond across lawns and through woody stands and north over two paths back to the children's home. The building and the south adjacent lawn area is fenced off the park. Here is an old sequoia with over 4m circumference before, further a blood beech with 70 cm breast height diameter and ash, chestnut and maple trees.
In the park in the meadows and at the edges are older trees. The margins are mostly forest-like with a lot of oak. On the meadows there are beech trees with breast height diameters (BHD) of 45-95 cm, linden trees (with up to 60 cm BHD), oak trees (mostly with 40-50 cm, but also with 100 cm BHD), blood beech (70 cm BHD) and Sycamore trees 25-60 cm in front. A sycamore is very stately with 120 cm BHD. In the southern parkland on a small hill there is a place with linden trees (with BHD of 55 - 65 cm).
Further groves in the park are hornbeam, ash, horse chestnut, robinia, maple and alder, which are particularly present at the pond. From time to time a shrub layer of elderberry, hawthorn, hazel, holly and ornamental shrubs is formed.
