The extensive park between Kassel Wehlheiden, Niederzwehren and Südstadt forms part of the green link between Habichtswald and Fuldaaue dar. Bürgerpark invites you to take a stroll in the countryside and offers many large basins fed by small streams, natural surroundings. Old chestnut trees, lush rhododendrons and old tree dwellers make up the garden's special taste.
The lake phase was built on a pond and a natural stone platform was built along the banks of the river. Each year, this band presents the changing background of the Brothers Grimm Festival.
The park can be accessed free of charge and dogs can be taken on the leash while walking.
Schlossfeld Schoenfeld
In downtown Kassel and even in the countryside: the historic Schonfield Palace in the center of the park. Located on the edge of a jewel garden built in 1777 for the guard commander named Nicholas von Schonfeld. You will gladly use the castle as a wedding venue on the dates set. Botanical Garden
