A small park in Darmstadt
The 700 meters long and 40 meters wide park was created in the second half of the 19th century and was named in 1968 after Albert Schweitzer. She separated the old line of the Main-Neckar-Railway from the parade ground.
In the northern part of the park is the Wilhelm Haas monument.
In 1877, the privateer Valentin Noack donated a small pavilion (Ludwigstempel) for the park. The old railway line was abandoned in 1912. The small pavilion was vandalized in 1995.
