A green area around the Würzburg old town
The landscape garden was built at the end of the 19th century in the area of the former city fortifications. It is 3.3 km long, up to 240 m wide and covers an area of 27 hectares. As the city's "green lung", the glacis serves both ecological and recreational purposes, as well as numerous fountains and monuments.
