The Botanical Garden of the University of Ulm is a central scientific institution. As a university park, it primarily performs tasks in research and teaching. The basic functions of the University Park also include the preservation and development of documented scientific plant collections that are used for different purposes (teaching, research and public relations).
At the same time, the park serves as a valuable interface between science and the public and thus meets the demands of the university not only as a research and training center, but also to provide direct services to the community.
