The park is traversed on its western side by the Grone, which is dammed approximately halfway through the park; below the weir opens the (in the industrial area partially piped) flute trench into the stream. Part of the water is diverted and flows into the pond, in the middle of which lies an island. Gray herons nest on this and old trees at the southern edge of the pond. In the pond live sturgeons, which were used in 2005 by anglers. However, an increase does not take place. The pond has two processes, one in the Grone below the weir, on the other hand in the small pond at the northern end of the park. In the southeastern corner is a playground. At the northwestern entrance to the park is a designated as a natural monument ginkgo.
