400 kinds of roses
The Rose Garden, now called "Rosarium", was newly opened on the Teichweg in 2000. After planting 2000 rosebushes shortly before the Second World War, the plant had lived a shadowy existence for many years, but now, after an initiative by the urban green space office and the Göttinger Beautification Association, it is again decorated with 400 rose plants.
