The Köpfertal valley is located in the east of Heilbronn
Located in a large nature reserve, Galgenberg-Schweinsberg-Staufenberg, it is a link between urban green areas and ecologically valuable areas: on the one hand for peaceful rest on the other to protect semi-natural habitats with plants and animals. In the Köpfertal alternative lowlands and wetlands and forests, the upper reaches of Köpferbach are located in the forest exclusively.
The Köpfertal nature reserve was expelled in 1985. The preventive purpose is to maintain Köpfertal with many wetlands, natural valley forests and rocky clogs for animal and plant science reasons.
