The Zoological Park of Paris, formerly the zoological park of the Bois de Vincennes2,3 and commonly called zoo Vincennes4,5, is a French zoological park of the National Museum of Natural History, located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, where it covers an area 14.5 hectares in the west of the Bois de Vincennes. Designed in 1934, in addition to the menagerie of the Jardin des Plantes, this zoo aims to observe the animal behavior in captivity and the reproduction of endangered species in their environment of origin.
