The park was opened in 1970 after three years of work that strengthened the century-old Lombard agricultural structure, which was organized according to Teresian Catasto (1760)
The park, crossed by Lambro in the western part, is crossed by a dense network of paraty lanes and northeast northeast is the Salesina Lake, which is fed by both ground water and rain. The abundant vegetation surrounding the water makes it good for birds and whales. The park is very hierhold and very popular with racers, some of whom also use the structure adjacent to the Saini Sports Center.
