Also known as the "park" due to its large size and simply called the "Lunetta" of Bologna, a municipal green area of about 14.5 hectares located in the district of Santo Stefano in Bologna, located via Via degli Orti, via Dagnini, Largo Lercaroe railway.
History
The name of the park comes from a type of military construction, namely the writer in particular, which formed between 1860 and 1867 a solid camp wanted by the general. Through a series of acquisitions in the 1970s, the area assumed its current size.
The layout of the area (144.523 square meters) as a public park, a long haul: architect Paolo Petini, designer of the Technical Office of the Municipality of Bologna from 1969 to 1982, was designed in 1970 and completed in 1985.
Throughout the years 1980-1981, Always Bettini designed a complex consisting of a gym, a gym and a large center, including the new façade facing the existing column park. Everything was carried out under the supervision of Michaela Villiano and Marco Ferrari between 1983 and 1985.
The garden is surrounded by dense dense foliage (the trees of Judas, Forsese, Sanconnelly, Scotany and many other ornamental shrubs) that protect them from traffic noise. The garden consists of large lawns, lemon trees, white lime trees, plane trees and horse chestnuts. There is also a manipulation area for dogs.
The park also has several school complexes (nurseries, nurseries, primary and middle schools), a cultural entertainment center, children's play areas and the Giorgio Bernardi sports center. Many of these structures are arranged in a long building, on one side a fountain is introduced by sculptor Paula Nicola Zamboni.

The sports center "Giorgio Bernardi" consists of several outdoor courts (basketball, volleyball, tennis and a small skating rink) and a gym named Valeria Moratello (a young Polish swimmer who died in the massacre of the early 904 the day before Christmas 1984) The foot, with columns for "Y" and the appropriate intermittent lines, is also the stadium of the football team Doves Bologna and Warriors Bologna (in the past, as well as Towers Bologna, Bologna Preves and other teams used for home games).
In 1999, the center was named Ing. Giorgio Bernardi, the regional delegate of CONI, who built the same sports facility as well as other important facilities in the city.
Since 2013, the Center's management has been assigned to RTI between the ASD Polisportiva Pontevecchio and the AICS Provincial Committee in Bologna.
Football
The first Serie A match was played on Saturday 19 March 1983 and the Ever Warriors match Bologna saw a 12-12 draw with Novalina E.
On July 12, 2008, the 28th Italian Superbowl, the final of the top-level American football championship run by the Italian Football Federation, was defeated by Hughes Reggio Emilia at Bologna's 28-14. After the recognition of FIDAF as the legitimate organizer of sports discipline in Italy by CONI, this final was considered informal.
