Characteristic is to be the park of sculptures of the museum of Grenoble
It is approximately 16,000 m22. It bears the name of Albert Michallon, mayor of Grenoble from 1959 to 1965, and hosts a commemorative plaque recalling his facts of resistance during the Second World War. This park was built from 1964.
Globally the park takes a form of square, following the path of the fortifications of the late nineteenth century that end their race inside the museum. It is home to the oldest tree in the city, a Lebanon cedar planted in 1847
