Nara Park is famous for its beauty, the three temples of the city, Todai-ji, Kofuku-ji, Kasuga Shrine, chaya, and deer, the national treasure declared.
In more than 500 hectares of the park, there are about 1200 wild yarn, which is a nice tourist attraction, and a small business for deer biscuit sellers.
Cookies, shika senbei, are made from wheat flour, rice bran, without sugar or other ingredients, for animal health. It is easy to find small shops offering bouquets of these cookies for 150 yen in the garden, so tourists can feed the deer.
