The realization of this last was entrusted to Louis and René Decorges in 1932. The square then took the appearance of a garden of "composite" style, inspired at the same time of the English style and the French garden. A statue of Anatole France, sculpted by François Sicard, adorns this space.
Dominated by the presence of a magnificent hundred year old plane tree, chestnut trees form a screen of greenery and in the clearings, find their place of mimosas, a ginkgo.
