Currently both the Botanical Garden and the Medieval Park are part of the University Center of Scientific Museums (C.A.M.S) from the University of Perugia. Botanical garden kits are mostly arranged according to phylogenetic standards; within the garden, there are also groups characterized by home and adaptation to certain environments.
In the medieval garden, the structure and location of cultivars are organized in a way that remembers the medieval beliefs and legends associated with the botanist. The path begins with a symbolic representation of the Garden of Eden, followed by sacred wood and ends with Bhurts Sanitatis and Hortus Holium where plants of medicinal and medicinal interest are planted.
