Of old origins
The Parco della Pescaia, built in the 1970s and developed on a roof at various altitudes, was built with equipment for recreational and entertainment activities, as well as an outdoor theater.
The park occupies an area characterized by a system of reservoirs to collect spring water in the area, as well as water from the Pescaia trench that flowed horizontally to the current park, which was used for irrigation and propagation. Fish.
Inside is Fonti di Veggio, with its ancient origins, which were the task of collecting and directing nearby spring water; the source was reconstructed in its present form between 1615-16 by Matteuccio Salvucci.
