One of the main green spaces of the city
This landscaped park of 22ha was built in 1810 by General de Boigne who wanted to beautify the area around his castle.
The city of Chambéry bought the property in 1971 and created a rose garden with 6000 roses representing 83 different varieties, including a red rose, "the Duchess of Savoy", named at the inauguration of the rose garden in 1988.
