The park is located on a quarter of the streets of Garwolińska, Szaserów, Kobielska and the inner road connecting ul. Szaserów with powder. In the 19th century, Fort XIA Fortress Warsaw, called Grochów Mały, was built here, and its last traces were unclear in 1957 when nearby residential properties were built.
Facilities in the park include an artificial hill, a football field and a playground, as well as the obelisk of the Józef Poliński monument.
In 2015 and 2016, the park underwent a comprehensive revival, where it was fenced, a dog race, a modern playground and a fountain were built, some trees were cut and new farms were established. There were also two pavilions: an exhibition and a cafe
