Remains of ancient lowland forests
Forest on the outskirts of Novara, remnants of the ancient lowland forests of oak and pods, Alders: Pro Natura Novara project to give the city a prestigious green area. ASSOCIAZIONE EST SESIA has awarded this field as a concession to restore it for environmental and educational purposes.
Pro Natura Novara volunteers work in Bosco. The first large collection of waste implemented in the spring of 2010 was followed by several interventions aimed at restoring pathways, new farms and the natural recovery of the area. Partner d. Mariano Rugoni is the Project Manager of Pro Natura Novara. Guests of the ASL Mental Health Therapeutic Communities in Novara work alongside Bosco Pro Natura volunteers.
