It houses a rose garden with more than 1,200 roses and nearly 200 varieties
This rose garden reminds that the cultivation of the rose, as well as the vine, was a full-fledged economic activity at the end of the 18th century, in western Paris. The perfumers' rose, also called "Puteaux's rose", was highly sought after for its healing properties and smell. It was sold to pharmacists but also to perfumers including the famous Coty in Suresnes for its incredible fragrance.
