Parc BertinA lake is a lovely place in the middle. It will soon be equipped with floating rafts to enrich aquatic environments.
This park was created during the dismantling of the ramparts at the end of the 19th century. It bears the name of Charles Bertin, who was mayor of Douai from 1896 to 1919. Originally, the water supply of the lake was made from a direct catch in the Scarpe. This food was destroyed during the bombings of the last war. So it is a borehole that is currently feeding the basin.
