The concrete walls have been planted and the whole course is abundantly planted with mature trees that have been preserved and recent plantings that complete the scheme. The low flood plain, strongly eroded by the floods of the river, has been the subject of a special treatment combining rip rap, tuning exotic wood and fascination. . Street furniture uses natural and local materials (wood and pebbles from the river for pontoons and balconies, low walls, benches, stairs ...). "Passports" frame the most interesting views and give information on the river (fauna, flora, built heritage related to water, canals, bridges, urbanization, industrial use of the water …). An orientation table in Azuleros, created by artists, refers to the Pyrenees, cradle of the Adour and recalls the partnership with the Arade, southern region of Portugal (European partner of the project). Trail fully accessible to people with reduced mobility.
