It was established in 1910-14 in the place where a pond used to be. Large clusters of beech trees were planted then, from which the name of the greenery comes from. Currently, few copies have survived. Today, greenery vegetation consists mainly of oaks and lindens and groups of rhododendrons. An interesting shrub growing in this area is dogwood (edible dogwood), flowering in the winter before the leaves develop.
