It is a public park in L'Aquila.
The Parco del Sole building is relatively modern. The area was created in the second half of the twentieth century in connection and continuation of parks in the villa comunale nearby. Over the years, it has hosted numerous events, mostly related to "Palestinian Forgiveness," a garden located at the bottom of the Basilica of Santa Maria dei Colimaggio. Between 2016 and 2018, following the 2009 earthquake and the rebuilding of the basilica, he underwent a major reconstruction, which reopened to the public on 6 August 2018.
