It is one of the largest Zamość districts, but the buildings themselves constitute a small share in its area, and are concentrated in the southern part (intersection of Lipska and Źródlana streets), where there is a small estate of the same name. A decisive advantage falls on single-family houses, apart from which there are also several (6) multi-family blocks.
The name of this small estate is associated with the history of the city. In the first half of the 17th century, there was the residence of Tomasz Zamoyski, the second ordinate, who was destroyed during the Cossack invasion in 1648. At present, a small, artificially built hill rises in its place.
