The IOR Park is yet another usual, yet somewhat outdated denomination of the venue. All in all, we speak of one of the largest parks in Bucharest, since it stretches on a surface of some 85 hectares. It’s true a considerable part of the park is filled by the Titan Lake which, together with its five islands, picturesquely named the Pensioners’ Island, the IOR Island, the Roses’ Island, the Drowned People’s Island and the Dogs’ Island, stands as one of the top attractions of the park. The lake is divided into two distinct parts (the Titan Lake I and the Titan Lake II) by the Liviu Rebreanu Bridge.
