  One of the parks located in Potenza

  The element of landscaping, its concentration and redevelopment, by building the park, was the backbone of restoring the entire part of the city and of course the neighborhood itself; triggering dynamic processes to increase activity in the sector of higher education, sports and recreational activities and the real enjoyment of citizens, always present at different times of the day. The project, through unitary design, enhances the fluidity of the long garden courtyard, but at the same time revolves around a system of areas and paths which, through different spatial configuration, different green layouts, changing materials for floors and furnishings, offers different ways of survival and meeting, and proposes to change Seasons, color and light suggestions that vary each time, thus freeing the space of the uniformity and unsteadiness effect confirmed by long construction fronts. The highly degraded area characterized by incomplete urbanization after the construction of the urban park literally triggered a process to restore the facades of buildings located on the edge of the area, resulting in the improvement of the entire neighborhood which is also effectively registered an increase in commercial activities. The characterization of park areas with sporting and recreational facilities, pedestrian and bicycle paths has encouraged not only individual users but also amateur sports associations.
