A green space in Périgueux
This garden, surrounded by silver lime trees, is composed of massive boxwood, yew, holly, plane trees, chestnut and spruce.
This amphitheater of 20,000 spectators built in the 1st century AD evolved into a fortress during the Middle Ages, then partly convented in 1641.
In the nineteenth century, the site is converted into a public garden. Listed on the list of historic monuments in 1840, it was remodeled in 1972.
There is a playground and a pool.
