The former monastery, founded in 1595 after a miracle, was kept by the Augustine monks for two hundred years. The French occupation in 1800 and the confiscation of church property changed the fate of the monastery and the complex was converted into Villa Patrizia. Purchased by Count Bruno de Tornavort, the villa takes its name. The Jesus Society receives this donation in mid-1900. Lucia Bernardi of Toselli purchases the complex in 1970, to carry out her archaeological activity until her death in 2007. Since then, heirs have taken care of it. The monastery and its proximity to the church attest to its ancient archaeological origins. Rooms furnished with old-style furniture, an English park with huge plants and a pond point to the glories of an old villa.
