Central place with fountain and sculpture by Johan Peter Molin
The park got its name in 2003 after Johan Peter Molin's sculpture The belt buckles that were first placed in the park on May 15, 1863, and in their present location in 1914. The belt buckle park is part of the more or less contiguous park area around Vallgraven that was created when Gothenburg's fortifications demolished in the early 19th century.
