A unique recreation environment
The dam protects other watercourses and residential areas from flooding, but also contributes to better water quality in Höje river. After heavy or prolonged rains, there can be extra water in the lake. There can also be water in the park. At high water levels it is extra important to be careful.
Råbysjön and Råby lake park contribute to biodiversity and offer a good environment for plants, birds and insects. Near the lake there is a barbecue area, outdoor gym and a large grassy area for ball games and other activities.
