The most characteristic of the park are the large trees. A white oxen avenue leads the visitor towards the mansion, which today houses eight apartments. There are also beautiful trees of different kinds as well as perennial and summer flower plantations. In Våxnäsparken, birds breed like starfish, nut wakes, finches and birch trout.
The park is extraordinarily beautiful and well worth a visit during the flowering of the magnolias. Since the beginning of the 2000s, the municipality has tested the durability of different types of magnolia oils in the Våxnäsparken.
The park's change
Over the years the park has undergone changes, but the many large trees testify that the park has a long historical tradition without major changes. The clearest difference one can see when studying maps from the beginning of the 20th century is that the park today lacks the winding walking system that once lay like a cobweb over the park.
