The park used to be the garden of the castle
In the past, the park was only accessible to the castle residents and their guests. These days it is a wonderful meeting place.
Students look for the sun or the shade of the age-old trees. Fathers and mothers let their children play in the playground while they watch the T-house terrace themselves. And dozens of chickens, geese and rabbits have made the park their home.
The Valkenberg Park is also regularly the setting for atmospheric events.
