Two different types of deer live
The zoo is home to two different types of deer - almost. 50 deer and 10 sika deer. The deer game is usually shy, and if you want to see it in the wild, get up early in the morning when they come out in the greenery. In Dyrehaven, on the other hand, the deer game is used for humans, and you can see it up close.
It is forbidden to feed animals because deer get sick if they are given food that they cannot tolerate.
Therefore, do not bring food to Derehaven. Also, manual feeding makes the deer tame, and can lead to aggressive behavior on the part of animals because it treats you as a companion of species and becomes nourishing.
