There are recreational facilities
This park originated in the 70s of the 20th century and it is part of the Maaspoort district. Central to the park is the Noorderplas, a former sand extraction lake that is up to 20 meters deep. The park is surrounded by a large number of footpaths, and there are recreational facilities, such as a playground.
