Near Linz city center: Saint Barbara Cemetery. People of all faiths find their ultimate place here.
The St. Barbara Cemetery was built in its current location at the end of the eighteenth century. Over the centuries, the cemetery area has expanded to 12 hectares, and today there are about 20,000 grave sites.
The subtle natural design with thousands of trees, shrubs and hedges makes it a haven all year round in the city center, a true garden of silence, memory and hope.
The bright and simple farewell rooms provide a delicate and delicate atmosphere for different and individual farewell parties.
In addition to the grave of the "classical" row, there are many other types of tombs for a sarcophagus and burial of jars - from the traditional basement walls to the burial of jars under your own family tree.
The cemetery is owned and run by the St. Barbara Gotisak Foundation.
