Pedestrian bridges perform adventurous during them and unusual rock formations in the past. So they are well developed, and thanks to the safe and well-marked walking paths, they are an ideal destination for families and hikers.
In addition to the unspeakable beauty of the valley, a rocky fall contributed to the fact that Rappenloch found his way to the national and international media and had been in the public eye for several months. On May 10, 2011, a rocky fall occurred, causing the Rappenloch Bridge to be demolished and the inner part of the gorge buried. Miraculously, no one was hurt. For safety reasons, the strait had to be closed for several months. Today Rappenloch Gorge can be visited again via a jetty. From the viewing platform, you can look inside the strait and parts of the stone block that is in it after the rocks fall.
