Interrupted by staircases of opposite sections connecting the different levels. The first terrace is divided into beds bordered by dwarf boxwood and planted with shrubs, in particular camellias and rounds, in addition to various herbaceous species, around a monumental fountain inside a circular tank. The middle terrace, also landscaped, has, like the first, a hexagonal tank around which open beds with old Japanese women. Under the two staircases that connect the three trays, fresh houses and attached fountains are opened: the first, at a higher level, has three openings, the central with a perfect arch, the two sides of ramps; the second opens only through a rectangular span. The cascading layout and implantation at a higher level than the urban agglomerate, as well as the various fountains, the armored portals and the sculptural elements, accentuate the dynamic value of this space, also providing, through games of light, effects of great spectacularity. The Vila Flor Palace, now renovated and equipped, is part of the Vila Flor Cultural Center.
