Walking trails are created 4-5 km in length, of varying degrees of difficulty (there are covers of soil, gravel, and wooden stairs). It takes 2-3 hours on average to visit the aisles.
Ligatne Nature Trails was created in 1975 with the aim of introducing visitors to the park to the values of Latvian nature and local wildlife species.
The first inhabitants of the area were six red deer, and a year later also a wild boar. Over time, many other abandoned, infected or domesticated animal children followed this for various reasons.
